I've heard that is good for almost anything, but I'd check with a natural medicine dr before trying this product.

Tried it for a week. It just made me sick. Ivermectin is for infestations. Desmoid tumors are not that. Take at your own risk. It didn't work out for me.

I go to an MD gastroenterologist. Ivermectin is used for animals but also humans. It is Not just horse medicine. He does prescribe it for patients with infestations but not for anything else. We don't have any infestation. We have a screwed up gene. Big difference. Save your money and time. Look to food and what your doctors tell you to do. Good luck

That's a question that comes up in the desmoid tumor community from time to time! It's understandable to be curious when people keep bringing something up.

However, there is currently no clinical evidence or research supporting the use of Ivermectin for desmoid tumors. It's not a recognized or approved treatment for this condition. What does have strong clinical evidence behind it is nirogacestat (Ogsiveo), which became the first FDA-approved medication specifically for desmoid tumors in November 2023. In clinical trials, it showed some impressive results:

- 41% of people taking it had significant tumor shrinkage
- People had a 71% lower risk of their tumor progressing over two years
- Participants reported less pain and a better quality of life

It's always worth having a conversation with your care team about approved and evidence-based treatment options. They can help guide what's right for your specific situation. 😊
