I had 2 rounds of cryo.
My IR Dr. told me right off that because of the location of my DT cryo. would never "cure or fully get rid of my tumor" because of the location and the area involved
At best it might shrink the tumor some and provide some pain relief
and it did provide about 3 weeks of pain relief each time

I have done cryoablation on my tumor . The recovery is short . My tumor has come back so I did more cryoablation , here’s hoping we got all the cells … I will find out next month to see how the shrinking is going .

I’m looking into cryoablation. I’d like to avoid surgery. My desmoid tumor is right lower quadrant - pretty superficial- palpable through skin. Anyone know of a provider in Denver area that does cryoablation for desmoid tumor? Thanks!

So far only one patient of many had a success breakthrough with cryo, the rest are in different treatments and stages with it! it's worth trying, and see if it works, because every tumor behaves different. Hope it helps you if they proposed that route! 🩵
